We can pick/drop you from the ‘Hauz Khas’ metro station at no charge. Please let us know in advance.
How long is each experience?
Our Experience range from 1.0 hours to 5.5 hours. However, each experience can be customised with reference to duration & start/end time keeping in mind your availability & feasibility.
Can I opt for breakfast instead of lunch/dinner?
Yes, you can. We can customise the menu & duration to fit your timeline.
What if I have allergies?
Each experience can be customised & curated as per your choice. Let us know your concern/s & we can create a menu accordingly.
I don’t like spice food! Can I still enjoy the food?
Sure, you can! Indian food need not be spicy to be good. You can let us know your spice tolerance & we can plan accordingly when we cook.
Are the classes private or combined with other guests?
Our classes are all limited to a maximum of 6 participants. This ensures maximum hands on participation & learning. You can chose to keep the class private at an additional cost.
I am a single/solo traveler. Can I book an Experience?
Sure, you can.
I have heard about the Delhi Belly, should I be worried?
No, not at all. Our food is cooked in a clean & hygienic environment with pure & filtered water.
Will the Experience include meat?
Yes, we normally include chicken/lamb or fish in our experience. Beef is not included since the cow is sacred for Hindus & we don’t consume it.

What is your pricing structure?
The rates vary based on the Experience you chose, number of people traveling together & the special requests you have (if any). Once you fill the ‘Book Now’ form, we will get back with the rates.
What is the chid policy/cost?
We encourage children to join in the cooking & learn. In our experience, kids love making the breads & have lots of fun with the dough. The rates for kids is reduced. Let us know the experience you are interested in & we can let you know the break up of rates for kids / adults.
How do I request for an Experience?
Just fill in the ‘Book Now’ form with your details & if any special requests/concerns/message. We will get back to you with details/cost/availability/etc. We normally reply within 2-3 hours.

How far in advance do I have to book?
We would recommend you book as early as possible for a confirmed booking. Since most of the Experience options are private , they can be booked way in advance.
How do I block/book an Experience?
A deposit payment (normally between USD 50 & USD 100) needs to be made to block/book the Experience & Date.
Once the date/time/experience is finalised from both ends, we will send an Invoice through PayPal through which you can pay. We normally keep the date blocked for 2-3 days after the Invoice is shared. However, this can be increased to a few days in special cases.
The balance payment pending can be made after the experience is complete.
Are the rates negotiable?
The rates we quote to you are after much thought & deliberation. Our primary focus is on Quality & hence all the experiences are private. The rates quoted are the best rates possible.
When I make a deposit payment through PayPal, is my credit card information safe?
Yes, for sure. PayPal is a trusted website used worldwide to send & receive money.
Do you accept any other currency besides INR?
We accept payments in USD & Euro besides INR.
What is your cancellation policy?
The booking Deposit is non-refundable. The date/time can be amended based on availability. If cancelled by Saffron Palate (due to some unforeseen circumstance/unavoidable reasons) full refund of payment made would be done.
